      This car switch mode power supply (SMPS) project is made from an old PC power supply ferrite transformer. It is connected on 12 volts car battery and gives output +/- symmetrical 2x55 volts. The integration of the PWM control circuit is based on SG3525, this SMPS power supply is ideal for high-voltage amplifier also works with handmade ferrite transformer.
    

      The ferrite transformer is removed from the power supply connection to the PC EI33. This version of car SMPS has 200 watt power supply and can supply amplifiers up to 150W / 4 ohm.
    

    
    Attention: Be careful the circuit output voltage is high!
